A season to traverse the elegant grassy world,
A season to feel the light green beautiful trees,
A season of smelling the elegant earthy aroma,
A season for dancing under the open sky,
A season to enjoy the rainy waterfall,
A season to explore the savory local monsoon gastronomies,
Let’s explore the season of Monsoon.
Gwalior have lots of various monsoon weekend gateways in the hub of nature, or some majestic excursion gateways to enjoy the beautiful water bodies, some of them to enjoy the weekend's gateway are Tigera Dam, Bhadawana Waterfall, Pagara Dam and much more. I created the best three monsoon weekend destinations nearby Gwalior.

            ·   Bhadawana waterfall, Gwalior

As Gwalior's outskirts are surrounded by the backside of the Aravalli ranges/hills so the outskirts of the magnificent city Gwalior shows the majestic natural greenery views.
This monsoon is the best to enjoy the majestic Bhadawana waterfall in nature's hub, must enjoy the feeling of the pure and the freshwater with the beautiful fragrance of natural surroundings with your loved ones. The Bhadawana waterfalls are located 26 km away from the Gwalior railway station. The waterfall has some of the methodological importance due to having a temple of Lord Shiva, the temple is located on the crest of the waterfall, and for reaching there you need to go through stairs, placed in the corner of the waterfall.  The second most delightful thing to try there is “a cup of tea and the bhutta (corn or maize)”. In terms of mode of transportation for reaching Bhadawana is by hiring some cabs or taxies, own vehicle as nowadays GPS is the best mode to roam around, accordingly GPS will unquestionably command the directions or you may go by cycle, if you are a youngster as cycling is the best way to traverse the outskirts and to get more and more about the routes and one of the most notable points about the destination is that, since the waterfall is located in rural outskirts of the Gwalior so try to explore the villages because as we know, villages are the best place to traverse the culture deeply.

                · Tigra Dam, Gwalior

It is one of the freshwater reservoirs erected on the Sank River in the outskirts of the city Gwalior. The dam is located 23 km from Gwalior. In monsoon days the dam is emerging as one of the best destinations to traverse with families and to make memories with their loved ones. In terms of thrilling, pleasant, and leisure activities at the dam are some such rides are available "speed boating, Jalpari boat, paddle boating and water scooter rides". As the Dam is located on the rural outskirts of the destination so restaurants are not open there although some of the Dabba's are there to explore the local food, as well as Madhya Pradesh tourism department, has already installed one restaurant at the parking area. As now the monsoon season is passing on so y’all may also see some of the migratory birds at Tigra. The sources for reaching the destination are the cabs, taxies and your own vehicles.

                             ·    Pagara Dam, Morena

A destination with lots of beautiful natural views located 75km away from the city of Gwalior. It is well connected by road from Morena. The place is surrounded by majestic Grass slopes, farms, hills, water ponds, and vast camping ground makes it a perfect place to hang out near Gwalior. The exigency enjoyable movement is the sunset in a peaceful, calm and tranquil way with the reflection in the pond water. Try to explore the locally available pakode, Chaat papdi and some other tasty local food of the destination.
