Gwalior Sun Temle
It is one of a significant spectacular shrine in Gwalior dedicated to the holy Sun God. constructed by the famous industrialist Ghanshyam Das Birla. The temple construction was completed in 1988, the construction took almost four years and four days. Gwalior Sun Temple has almost the same basic architecture just like a legendary Konark Sun Temple, Puri, Orissa. The temple is constructed by red sandstone and pearly white marble. Sun temple is situated in the middle of the Garden and initially, the name of the garden was Tapovan Garden but after the completion, the name of the garden changed to Surya Van or Surya Garden.
